Ijaw International Alliance USA is a non-profit organization founded by five ijaw sons in 1992 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It's mission at inception was to be an organization of your sisters and brothers keeper in the communities we live.
Over the years our mission changed because we saw pictures of school children in the rural areas of the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria sitting on bricks to study in the classrooms. From that time we decided to help supply chairs and desks to elementary and secondary schools in the region. In the past three years, we have supplied 10 schools in the region with chairs and desks.
